Between December 2025 and February 2026, Claire Ward, the Mayor of the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA, was consulting widely about her new Transport Plan for the area which cover all of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire: Transport – East Midlands Combined County Authority .
Pedals, along with many other Stakeholder Groups, took the opportunity to make a comprehensive responses, both commenting on different aspects of the Draft Plan, and also updating our comprehensive “wish list” of detailed proposals. This was a revision of the previous comprehensive response we made, in 2023, to what was then the “LCWIP” (Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan”, for what was then referred to as the “D2N2” Area.
