Feedback on the Pedals stall / display at the Nottingham Green Festival on Sunday 14 July (David Lally, Samuel Shoesmith, and others involved)
Proposed (Cycling UK) Glow Ride (in Nottingham) on 22 October (Susan Young) and c.f. email circulated on 22 August
Promoting cycling to schools, including bike buses, and generally among young people, including David Nicholson-Cole’s proposed survey (Samuel Shoesmith, Brendan McCabe and David NC)
New cycle-hostile barriers installed at Rushcliffe Country Park access points: planned Freedom of Information Request to Rushcliffe Borough Council (David N-C)
Update on Pedals proposals for the “RoSChet” foot-cycle bridge proposal including offer from Dawn Rahman of ITP by Haskoning to coordinate meeting with Alan Simpson and other key EMCCA Officers. (Hugh McClintock)
Request for feedback on recent changes to the Tollhouse Hill junction at the junction of Maid Marian Way and Upper Parliament Street
Report on CAWAG Infrastructure subgroup meeting of 8 September (Hugh McClintock and Peter Briggs) and with reference to the notes circulated by the Chair, Helen Berry (formerly Helen Hemstock), CEO of Ridewise, on 8 September.

Pedals representation at East Midlands Cyclists’ Forum meeting in Chesterfield on Saturday 11 October from 10.00-15.00 and need for those of us from Pedals attending to learn lessons for when we host the next EMCF event, in Nottingham, in Autumn 2026.
Forthcoming East Midlands Combined County Authority Local Transport Plan public consultation, Autumn 2025, including opportunity for Pedals to revised our comprehensive LCWIP “wish list” submitted in the D2N2 Area consultation in 2023.

Climate Ambassadors Scheme – get involved! – message of 11 September from Matilda Crane, East Midlands Regional Hub Manager for the Climate Ambassadors Scheme, a DfE funded programme that supports nurseries, schools and colleges to develop and deliver impactful climate action plans, and subsequent offer from Jude Wilkinson (11 Sept) to lead a Pedals response.
