Minutes of the 21 July 2025 meeting and review of matters arising including campaign updates:-
Update on arrangements for Pedals stall / display at the Nottingham Green Festival on Sunday 14 July including transport of Pedals stuff, cycle parking, preparation of new display material for the new folding boards to be used on a table at the Pedals stall, cycle maps, flyers and business cards, and a (draft) rota of volunteers for our stall (Samuel Shoesmith, David Lally and David N-C).
Promoting cycling to schools, including bike buses, and generally among young people, including David Nicholson-Cole’s proposed survey (Samuel Shoesmith, Brendan McCabe and David NC)
New cycle-hostile barriers installed at Rushcliffe Country Park access points: update proposed Freedom of Information Request to Rushcliffe Borough Council (David N-C)
Update on Pedals proposals for the “RoSChet” foot-cycle bridge proposal including offer from Dawn Rahman of ITP by Haskoning to coordinate meeting with Alan Simpson and other key EMCCA Officers. (Hugh McClintock)
