30th Birthday CakeMay 2009 marked the 30th anniversary of the commuter cycle races in May 1979, sponsored by BBC Radio Nottingham, which launched Pedals. In these the cyclist beat the car passenger and the bus passenger to arrive first in the studios, after setting off from different starting points each day from points each about 2 miles from the city centre.

It is great to know a great

It is great to know a great organization like the Pedal has lasted so long unwavering and scratch less after all these years. It’s been thirty long years since they have came up. It has to be a grant birthday. The first celebratory meal I suppose was held in June and the second celebratory meal was to be held on November. All Pedal members are heartily invited and they all hope for a joyful moment!
