Local cyclists needed to partner blind people

A Charity is appealing for volunteers to go cycling with people who can't see.

The aim is to help blind people lead more independent lives.

Nottinghamshire Royal Society for the Blind will provide tandems and needs sighted people to ride with blind people and act as "steerers" for them,.

A roadshow is being held on Saturday 20th August 2011 at the Forest Fields Recreation Ground for those interested in getting involved.

The event takes place from 10.30 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1-2pm
